As temperatures drop so does the pressure in your tires. This is usually accompanied by a low tire pressure light. It doesn’t necessarily mean there is leak in the tire. Things contract as they get cold and air is no different. Molecules contract causing tire pressure to go down. To get maximum traction and avoid damage from running tires under inflated, air them up to the manufacturers recommended pressure. This information is usually found on the door pillar of the driver’s door or in your owner’s manual. If you need help, please stop by we will be happy to assist.
