Tom And Dan Gleason: The Mechanics Behind It All

Tom and Dan Gleason are the proud owners of Pro Tech Auto Repair Inc., and they use their combined experience to keep their shop a well-oiled machine. Following his graduation, Tom began working for Ford dealers. It didn’t take long for him to realize his potential, and he eventually became a certified mechanic in 1977. Dan followed a similar path. In 2004, Dan started working as a mechanic and has earned several certifications since. Side by side, Dan and Tom ensure that their facility remains a trusted source for auto repairs.

Meet Out Team

  • Tom GleasonOwner

    After graduation from Hennepin Technical College, Tom started at Ford dealers. He became a certified master tech in 1977, with certifications still held today. In 1983 he started Pro-Tech Auto Repair with a partner and in 1996 took the business over on his own. Now in Pro-Tech's 37th year, he still very much enjoys what he does.


  • Don GleasonOwner

    Pro-Tech is proud to have Tom's son Dan join the family business in 2002 part-time and then full-time in 2005, when he graduated from Dunwoody Technical College. He has learned a great deal working side by side with Tom. He is a certified master tech and continues on-going industry training. Dan is taking over the business and is continuing the high standards we have set. He is innovative in his approach to the business and has implemented several new things that have benefited both the customers and the company. A bright future is ahead for all. When he is not working, he loves being in the outdoors with his family.


  • Jessi MailhotService Writer

    Jessi joined us in June of 2018 as a service writer assistant and quickly advanced to become our second full time service writer. She grew up across the street from Tom and is how we came to know her. In high school she had an interest in cars. She attended Wright Tech, a secondary technical school, and were she excelled in the automotive program. After high school she worked for Valvoline Rapid oil change servicing cars. She advanced to become a store manager. Jessi does an excellent job helping our customers understand what’s going on with their cars and how they can maintain them to get the maximum life from them. We are growing and She is a big help getting us to the next level. She loves taking trips to warmer weather and her favorite hobbies include riding her horses and spending time with her three dogs.


  • Alan ThompsonService Advisor

    Alan has been the face that greets you as our service advisor since 2015. He has a very friendly, personal way he interacts with customers and his extensive experience in the industry lends well to his ability to understand the customer's problems and help find the best option to correct them. If you haven’t met him, you’ll enjoy working with him.


  • Sam PriemASE Certified Master Technician

    We are extremely happy to say Sam has rejoined us after completing his 2nd year of schooling. Sam worked for us before starting school and during his 1st year of school. Due to his busy schedule he had to leave during the second year. Sam was at the top of his class and competed in the “Skills USA” competition. This is a competition among students at both state and national levels to demonstrate their skills. Cars are bugged in some way and contestants have to diagnose them within a time limit. Sam finished 3rd in the state competition! Sam has also passed all ASE certification tests needed to earn his Automotive Master’s Certification. Way to go Sam!


  • Tony OsowskiLead Technician, ASE Certified

    Tony is the lead tech of our team. He has over 15 years’ experience on all makes of cars. Additionally, Tony went through a Ford specific training program in vocational school. Tony has 4 of his ASE certifications and is working on more. Tony graduated from Champlin Park High School. He married his high school sweetheart in 2014. Their hobbies include 2 Great Danes, Natty & Norman. Tony’s wife owns and runs “Sweet 4 Paws” an all things dog business They also love to travel. Tony is a lot of fun to be around, is self-motivated, a hard worker and is driven to do quality work and earn a reputation for doing so.


  • Anthony HackenmuellerTechnician

    Anthony “Tony” Hackenmueller is a graduate of Dunwoody institute and has work in the industry 8 years before starting with us in August of 2019. He is very detail oriented and that attention to detail helps him deliver the quality work he provides our customers. He’s fun to work with and has interests in motorcycles, shooting sports and fabricating or reengineering things for other applications. We are very lucky to have him.
