Winter is here, is your battery up to the challenge?
Temperature really affects how well your battery works. At zero degrees a car’s battery is only 20% efficient. Also the average life of a battery is 5 years. If you have you have dirty connections at the battery or the battery is old the car might not be able to start the car in extreme cold weather. Look at the battery, are the connections clean? Do you know how old it is? If not get it cleaned and tested to make sure the car will start for in the cold.
The best part is we have 2 more weeks that our food drive is running. Make a non-perishable food donation or a monetary donation of at least $10.00 and we will test your battery, rotate your tires if needed for free. Our donation barrel needs help! The donations go to CROSS food shelf in Rogers. So help your self be prepared and give a neighbor a helping hand at the same time!
